Dropbox non-admin installation thinks I'm out of disk space and needs admin rights
Windows, non-admin installation. Plenty of space left in my account. Plenty of space left on the computer.
This error message recently appeared on 2 of my 3 computers.
There's plenty...

Dropbox Staff
Hi GertFrobe, and welcome back to our forum.
In general, please keep in mind that the Dropbox desktop app requires admin privileges to run with full functionality on your computer.
Can you send me a screenshot of your available hard drive space, so that I may have a visual? Also, how much space are you using on your Dropbox account based on the info showing here?
What’s the exact OS version of the device on which you’re having this issue?
Keep me updated.

This is happening on 3 computers. Two are Windows 10, and the other is Windows 2019. Here's the information from one of the Win10 computers.
As requested, here's a screenshot of the available hard drive space. There's obviously more than enough free space. The other 2 computers have even more free space.

Hey GertFrobe - sorry to jump in here and thanks for the additional information.
Could you let us know the exact version and status of the app as shown in your system tray on the affected devices?
You can find the latest, stable one on this page, if needed.

194.4.6267
195.4.4995
Both versions have this problem.
