I became aware that my Dropbox app stopped synchronizing two days ago. After trying several things I did an advanced de-install. Then installing again with the 'offline installer'. The normal one didn't work, because it said there was no internet connection. The connection was all the time established and even with the firewall off, it didn't work. The app is now installed, but still tries to make a connection. I found a lot of posts with connection problems, but nothing helped to me. Please advice.72Views0likes7CommentsI can't sign in to my Dropbox Windows app.
It was available until yesterday lunchtime I don't know what's going on, it's out of sync and keeps saying it's starting up This happens not only on my laptop, but also on other synchronized devices. I don't have any security programs or firewalls, and I've tried reinstalling them, but they don't work. I can still access Dropbox through the internet site. What should I do?6Views0likes1CommentWindows Server 2019: LTS App Still Shows Unsupported OS Message
I'm using Dropbox on Windows Server 2019, and recently it stopped working, saying, "Support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 has ended." They provided a link to download a "Long-Term Support" app, but after installing it, I’m still getting the same message, and it won’t launch. Has anyone else experienced this? It's frustrating, especially since I already installed the recommended LTS app. Any advice or workarounds?293Views4likes18CommentsThe Dropbox desktop application will no longer be supported for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 on October 22nd
Congratulations Dropbox! You've just put the nail in the coffin of all W7 users who prefer not to be spied on and constantly used for data scraping! Well done. If the constant scaremonger nagging about running out of space, the constant begging to upgrade, the incessant app updating demands, the constant USB device interrogation upon connection wasn't enough of an incentive to finally ditch Dropbox for good, then the cutting off of users of a still perfectly good and functional, non-spyware infested OS will be the last straw. Thank you Dropbox for giving me the incentive to go to your competitors instead and get out of your ever more bloated crapware ecosystem. Sometimes, people need a little push to get away from what's comfortable and familiar, even though they suspect just how bad that relationship is for them. I thank you Dropbox for giving me this little push. Goodbye.5.9KViews7likes19CommentsDropbox desktop app not working on MacOS Sonoma 14.5
my desktop app stopped working, when I click the home icon it continually says "connecting components" without ever getting there. any changes I make to files on my desktop are not visible in the online webpage or on the app on other devices. I have deleted and reinstalled the program multiple times to no avail. I am running macOS Sonoma 14.5 and the current dropbox installation is version 204.4.5420.314Views0likes4CommentsI can't switch to my other account when using the app, it redirects me to the same one.
hello dropbow windows version is installed on my computer.I have two dropbox accounts.I logged in with one of them when it was installed. But I can't log in to my other account.Because there is no option to change account in the icon next to the clock, there is only quit.If I log out and start the application again, it automatically logs into the first account again. But this is very bad.20Views0likes3CommentsDropbox update pop-up keeps re-appearing on Windows 11
Help I'm losing my mind I now have 7 pop-ups asking me to install the latest update to Dropbox last month this happened I went to Dropbox/ download reinstalled the entire thing after I uninstalled it and while that solved the issue temporarily it's back again after a new update was released what it looks like is almost a virus but it's not I'll show you the installer screens and they appear to be issued by Dropbox I don't think you can fake that but I'm not 100% sure I have scanned for viruses just as an FYI but since there's no way to reach out to actual Dropbox and tell them that we're experiencing this bug on Windows PC specifically windows 11 its is requesting UAC I say yes ad it will popup again625Views2likes3Comments
