Please help me get rid of this annoying pop-up that has no exit button. I have a free basic plan of 2GB and I have only used 38.8MB of storage. Now, I cannot navigate my account because this pop-up saying my "30 day free trial has ended" keeps blocking the whole screen. Pl I only want the basic free plan but it does not allow me to continue with my basic free account. Please help. I want to remove the payment option from my account. However, I cannot do this myself from the account page -- Dropbox itself points me to their customer service. I have Dropbox Basic, which only gives me access to the help center, the community, and a useless chatbot. The only community post I've found on this topic says that I have to talk to someone on the support staff, but this seems out of reach for a lowly Basic user like me. The chatbot just says that I can manage my billing options etc from the account page and that I should upgrade to get more support. Is there a way to remove the payment option from my Basic account without upgrading to a paid membership to be allowed to send the support staff an email? This experience has been an absolute nightmare even though it has just consumed 30 minutes of my life. I have seen more disgusting anti-patterns on this website than I count. Last year we had a teams account for a specific project which has now completed. My email was the admin account. After canceling the renewal since the account was no longer needed, my credit card is still listed as a payment method under my free/basic account with no option to remove it. I want my CC info completely removed from the system, but because it is a free account I have no access to dropbox chat/email/support/etc. Any idea how to get it off of there? Dear Sir or Madam: My wife and I are both subscribers to the Webinars on Drop Box. Closed Captioning is provided, but unfortunately it is challenging still for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individual due to the inability to read, or fully comprehend the complexity of English language and the content provided because these factors, it would be so beneficial to a Deaf/ Hard of Hearing individual to have an American Sign Language Interpreter in real time, so the Deaf/Hard of hearing individual is able to have the same experience as hearing individuals. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other laws require businesses, governments, and nonprofit organizations to provide access to people who are Deaf, Deaf blind, or hard of hearing. This access use meet the person’s needs and communication style. Also, American Sign Language (ASL) is its own language that is used by the Deaf community. ASL is a language and uses its own right, separate to English, and uses its own grammar structure. If Zoom or a webinar is the platform that is being used, it has the capability where an interpreter can join. There are many video relay and VRI provider that Deaf individuals use for the sole purpose of being connected and being informed like hearing people. Zoom has an interpreter with VRS (Video Relay Service) through the Sorenson for Zoom app. This app allows meeting hosts to add an ASL interpreter to a call on demand without scheduling in advance. The interpreter can join the meeting as a full participant on the same screen as everyone else. Deaf participants can see both the meeting and the interpreter in the same window, and everyone can view shared content and screens while still seeing each other. I am writing this letter to your company with the hope that you get a better understanding of the challenges that Deaf individuals face when it comes to access. I am paying a monthly amount to Dropbox but apparently I only have a Dropbox Basic account which means i don't have any access to human support. I have followed the recommended steps to cancel after logging into my account but I don't have the Cancel option they are referring to and I'm going round and round in circles. I’ve been trying to delete my account and I get Error 500. I’m on a basic 2gb plan so it’s a free service. There is nothing in my Dropbox. Tried deleting the account through google chrome, safari and the Dropbox app website data has been cleared prior to preforming the deletion.
