"The directory name is invalid" error after moving the Dropbox folder to another drive
I recently moved the location of my Dropbox to D drive since the latest update automatically changed the default location of dropbox to C drive which had insufficient space.
It did not work after doing that and showed me an error when i tried opening any files. After moving & fully syncing the files to my D Drive I try to open the files it does not work. I get the error "directory name is invalid".
After this I uninstalled dropbox app and deleted all files from these folders. I then reinstalled the dropbox app with the default location for dropbox folder to be in D drive but I getting the same error "director name is invalid" when i try to open any synced files.
Please advise on how I can fix this issue?

Hey sjain, thanks for letting us know about this.
Can you please describe the steps you followed to move the Dropbox folder?
Was it manually or did you do it through the application's preferences?
Also, are you currently able to open and view your files online, or are you having trouble there as well?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Since the most recent upgrade automatically shifted Dropbox's default location to C drive, which lacked enough capacity, I recently transferred my Dropbox to D drive.

Hey WilliamBrunner, sorry to ask, but are you having any specific issues at the moment?
I'm just asking because I didn't quite understand your query.
