Syncing does not register any network traffic on Windows 11

I've installed a new copy of windows 11 pro on a new system and I've setup Dropbox. When I begin syncing my files (circa 14k files), the files left to sync are counting down but nothing is registered on the ethernet traffic. Why would this be?

I do have "LAN sync" enabled with those circa 14k files sitting on another connected system, but why would windows and even glasswire report no network activity as syncing is taking place?

I should note, even disabling "LAN sync" does not change this and i still get no network activity. If I run a web speed test, download a file from the web or copy a network file, these all register network traffic as expected, just not the Dropbox sync!?

Would love some insight into why this is.

Thanks.

Hey DreamPro, thanks for posting on our Community!

It does sound strange that there's no network activity when the desktop app is syncing your files, could you let me know the desktop app's exact version and status as shown in your taskbar at the moment?

Is it 'up to date' or syncing?

Any additional information is more than welcome!
