Network path: not shared

I am a member (not admin) of a shared folder.  I received an invite, joined, looked at pictures.  It is in my File Explorer list of folders.  When I right-click on that folder and look at properties, under the Sharing tab, it says Network Path:  Not Shared.

Does this mean this folder is not shared?  The invite said I had edit privileges.  If I put a file in this folder, will it automatically share with other members?

Thank you for quick reply.  None of the other members have received a notice of the file I posted.  It was five days ago.

Have they looked in their copy of the folder to see if the file is there. They won't receive a notice each time a file is added. The only notification option, if they have it enabled, is a weekly digest of activity in their shared folders.

That tab is not related to Dropbox. It refers to the sharing functionality within Windows.

Each member of a shared folder has a copy of the folder. Anything that happens within that folder is synced with all other members. If you have edit access and add a file, all other members will receive it.
