Works fine on Windows, Mac, iPad, but not on this Tablet.
Has anyone managed to get the edit a PDF working on a Xiaomi tablet? (I am on MIUI 14.0.4) Editing PDF's from within the dropbox website works fine on Windows, Mac, iPad, using any browser. However on this Xiaomi, I have tried 5 browsers, and none of them will show the "Edit" menu item at the top when the PDF is open. Did not want to go down the the path of launching a PDF edit app, one of the other guys has tried this with mixed results. Native editing in Dropbox, like i can do on iPad would be best.Solved9.5KViews0likes22CommentsHow do YOU access Dropbox?
Hi Dropbox community - I'm a design researcher here at Dropbox. I'm curious about how you access Dropbox! How do you access Dropbox: the website, the desktop app (for mac/windows), and/or the mobile app (iOS, android)? For those you use, why do you use them? For those you don't, why not? Is there anything you wish you could do on one that you can't today? Why?9.5KViews6likes11Comments“No preview available” error message, when trying to preview a file on the mobile app

We are using Bluebeam Revu for iPad which connects with Dropbox. It used to work just fine, but a few years ago Dropbox stopped showing the full file structure within the Bluebeam Revu for iPad app. I've been working with Bluebeam tech support off and on about this issue for this whole time, but they still can't figure out what the cause is. This does not happen with their other users. When in the Bluebeam Revu for iPad app, when we go to the cloud connections, where it connects with Dropbox, the Dropbox listing there only shows three folders and one loose PDF file. We have MANY, MANY more than that which aren't showing. For some reason, Dropbox will not sync the full file structure. It had worked fine from before October 2020, but after that it stopped syncing and showing the full file structure with Bluebeam Revu for iPad.Solved4KViews0likes19CommentsScrivener. PC to iPad.
Scrivener and Dropbox offer this feature where you can back up your project onto Dropbox from your PC and resume your project on iPad and vice versa. I have backed up my Scrivener project onto Dropbox but there is no tutorial or article on how to open up my project on iPad so I can continue writing. Anyone have any answers for this?3.8KViews0likes1CommentCan't open pdf on first generation ipad
I occasionally use my 1st gen iPad for display purposes. I transferred a pdf via Dropbox, and when I clicked on the file to open it I got a gray page. And seemingly no way back to the file list. I tried closing Dropbox app but it reopens with same gray page. I restarted the iPad but same happens. My next step would be to delete and reinstall the app, but I'm not sure I could download a version for Ipad OS 5.1.1 - the latest for this ipad. Any ideas of how to get back to a functioning Dropbox welcome - preferable without re-installingSolved3.5KViews0likes12Comments
