Unable to open docx file on Dropbox preview page so I cannot see what the comments are referring to
I shared a .docx file with my collaborators for commenting via Dropbox, and I think they commented using the Dropbox comment function. I am aware of the issue that Dropbox comments on a Word file are only visible on the website and not when the file is opened via the desktop app. However, my issue is that now the docx file does not open in the Dropbox website viewer, and I can only see the comments, but not which line they are referring to. The page just says '.docx files are supported but something went wrong'. When I download the file or open it in Word for the web, I cannot see any of the comments. Is there any solution to this?
I hid a column in Excel on my laptop, but it showed up on my Android and iPad.
Dear community I am able to hide a column on the web excel using my laptop. After refresh, on my laptop the hidden column is hidden away. Same goes when i view the spreadsheet on a shared user's laptop. The problem comes when i tried to view the same spreadsheet on my Android devices and ipads, the hidden column is not hidden anymore. Is there anything that i missed out??
Cannot open excel files on my Mac, files aren't corrupt.
I cannot open all of my excel files in my Dropbox. Everything was fine yesterday, and I still worked with all my files. But today it cannot. The files weren't corrupt, I tried to open in downloads folder and everything was fine. I have already reinstall the app, but still cannot be opened. Maybe someone can help me about this problem, thank you.
\\?\D:\Dropbox in the file path not allowing me to open my Word documents
Dear Sirs, Couple of weeks ago I started to have problems with openening of 50% of my word documents which are inside dropbox folder. Documents are simple not openening, because they have\\?\ symbos at the beginning of file directory In case I move these not opening files outside Dropbox folder they start to open normally. Can you please advice why some of my files can have these\\?\ symbols appearing? Same document I'm able to open today can be unable to open next time. Same happens on my second PC. Thanks
