I got an email saying I don't have enough space, but that's not true. Is this legit?

i have recieved a strange email from this address no-reply@em-s.dropbox.com

it says:

"There's limited space available in your Dropbox. Even adding just one more file might stop your account from syncing and being able to access them when you need to."

that is not true, i have much more space, i thought it is a spam and i came here to check what you say about it and i saw that you say it is one of your addresses and i don't get it.

can you please help me understanding this?

thanks

Hi RAVit1! Thanks for posting about this here today.

The email address of the sender seems legit, indeed.

What I want to make sure first is that you don’t have a second Dropbox account that has gone over-quota instead.

If you check the email address to which you received that email, is it the exact same one as the one you see on this page?

Let me know and we’ll go from there.

Thanks for double checking! Can you send me a screenshot of the email you got, so that I can look into this further?
