Not enough space but the app says otherwise.

I've create my account a really long time ago and at that point I've received this amount of space. The app still displays this amount of space, but at the same time it tells me that I don't have enough space and I should upgrade becaseu files would not sync.

Should I just assume that this is a bug because it did not take into consideration older accounts that had different quotas or did I just lost my space ?

Hi salageanandrey, and sorry for jumping in.

It's kind of expected to see this message/notification once your Dropbox account gets close to its quota limit.

Did you try to add a small file/folder to your Dropbox account and it couldn't sync/get uploaded?

Hi salageanandrey, happy August 1st, let's jump right into this!

It looks like your first screenshot is coming from your plan page online, right? Therefore this would be the available space you have in your Dropbox account at the moment.

About the second screenshot, and notification: Is that a notification that you see on your desktop app? And if so, have you made sure that you don't have a different account linked to the app?

    Keep me posted!

Hi salageanandrey, thanks for the speedy reply!

Can you also check your plan page online, to see what it reports?

As for the app, it should be syncing without any issues since you have enough available space, so can you clarify its syncing status at the moment?

I removed all files from dropbox, remaining two empty folders that Dropbox keeps returning each time I delete them and still it shows as if I have used all my quota

I have been using Dropbox free service for a  long time. since August 2023 it started telling me I have used all my storage.

I have deleted all my files, remaining only two empty folders that Dropbox keeps bringing back each time I delete them.

I have also removed myself from all previously shared folders.

      Any suggestions?

      Rick
