If I leave a team, will I be able to upgrade the Basic account again?
Hi,
I had a business Dropbox Essentials account. I was asked by a vendor to join their team (we were working on shared files, so I thought it was just something to help that work better) and our account is now part of their account. I want them to remove it and have read the articles that if they delete it our files can be sent to a Dropbox Basic account. Our account is too large for Dropbox Basic. Will I be given the opportunity to upgrade and keep all our files, or will we lose files in this process?
Thank you!
Hey ABL_2400, thanks for posting your question today!
If the admin of the Dropbox Business team removes you from the team by converting your account back to an individual (Basic) one, you can absolutely re-upgrade your account afterwards.
Especially if the account is over its quota after downgrading, you can simply choose the plan you prefer and just re-upgrade.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you have more questions.
