Will my Dropbox files be lost, if I reset my computer?

Hi this is the first time I use Dropbox. I store files in it but it puts me "available on this device" if I reset my PC will my files be lost?

    Can you clarify what you mean when saying Dropbox puts you "available on this device”? Feel free to post here any relevant screenshots of what you see by clicking on the following button: 

     

     

    If you have the desktop app installed, you can log out of it, before resetting your computer, and your online Dropbox files shouldn’t be affected. However, before resetting your device, make sure that you see the same files within your local Dropbox folder and www.dropbox.com and that your desktop app is up to date.

     

    Let me know if I’ve misunderstood something though.
