Dropbox archive in two locations. Which one to delete?
I have a Mac Studio running OS Ventura 13.4. My dropbox app gives me the option to store my Dropbox folder location wherever I want. I have selected to have it stored in my user folder on my machine: [MyUsername]>dropbox.
Meanwhile I have discovered another dropbox folder in Users>[MyUsername]>Library>CloudStorage>Dropbox (11-14-22 12/00 PM) Archive. This folder is burning up 165 GB on my hard drive, and only contains a portion of the dropbox files -and only up to 11/14/22, nothing more recent than that. I believe this is a bug having to do with the fact that Dropbox needs to be stored in the cloudstorage folder these days.
I would like to get that 165GB of drive space back and not have two separate dropbox folders like this.
Is it safe to delete this archive?
I tried to move my dropbox folder to the [myusername]>library>cloudstorage folder, but received an error message from the dropbox app saying that I am unable to put a dropbox folder there.
This feels like a bug...

Hi there, Bat-Sheva G., I'd be happy to help!
As a first step, I suggest that you access the app's preferences, and then visit your Sync tab there.
That should give you the actual Dropbox folder location. Once you check where your Dropbox folder is syncing, you can then safely delete any other references, just make sure that you don't need the content in the other location.
I hope this clarifies, let me know if you have any questions!
