Dropbox is full but I have no files
Hi,
I was told my Dropbox was full so I deleted everything I don't need. I have checked the size of what I have left and it totals less than 3MB. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Ann
Hi AnnGordon, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you try checking your backups page to see if you have any currently active?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi, I am having the same problem, checked and deactivated my backups page, and still am getting this error message. What should I try?
Thanks!

Hey lemonbird, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you follow these steps and let us know if they helped?
1. Navigate to your backups page
2. Click on Show deleted backups
3. Select your backup and click on permanently delete
This should help get back your space.
- SarakatrineExplorer | Level 4Have the same problem so I have not used Dropbox for 6 years! And get often a message with this warning “your Dropbox is full”..hope the back up is the course too..

Hi Sarakatrine, let's jump right into this!
Could you check this page to see if you've enabled the Dropbox Backup feature on your account? Also, what does your plan page report?
Let me know more!
- SarakatrineExplorer | Level 4Unfortunately I actually do have files - but I transferred/deleted all years ago..? Could the cause be that I once too part in the Dropbox at my work? Don’t work there anymore..can’t see my files because it’s full and I’m no longer paying for it..so I don’t know what’s in the box..
