Why can't another user join a shared folder that is large?
Our organization has a Dropbox Plus account. I have a shared folder that has 7 members. The folder is about 50 GB in size. I recently added a new member and they are unable to open the folder. They are getting an error stating that they are limited to a 2GB plan and cannot access the link. I am assuming that is their personal Dropbox account putting that limitation in place, but am not sure of what workaround I can use. To my knowledge, all other users have access to the folder.
Hi @fenski4435, thanks for providing these details!
The Dropbox quota is calculated based on the total contents of your Dropbox, which includes shared folders.
This article contains more information about this, which also provides another method of sharing a folder.
