Share a folder with everyone - also for people without having a Dropbox account.

Hi Everybody,
If your shared links have stopped working, please refer to this Help Center article for troubleshooting steps. If your links still don't work after taking these steps, you can contact the support team for further assistance.
As Rich mentioned, shared links default to the “Can Edit” setting. You can restrict access to “View Only” for each link you share. You can read more about managing sharing permissions here.

Hi Megan
Thank you for your reply.
Yes I am an admin and Business Team.
The folder I want to share, should be available for everyone regardless if they are part of our team, or have an account with dropbox.
E.g. I want to send a link to a press release to a journalist, who should view and/or download. Or it should be available though a link from our website. It seems I can only create links were you need to be a member or have an account. Link is working - but is ending up with File Deleted - but it is not.

Hi everyone, could you clarify the exact steps you're taking to create a shared link?
If you're on a Dropbox Business team, could you also clarify that your team admin hasn't enabled settings to prevent shared links from being visible outside of the team?

Hi Jay,
I have basically tried all ways to share - and yes, since I am admin, I have not changed the settings.
Not sure what to look for as default but I find it very strange, that no one outside my team can access a link that I share for viewing. It used to work fine.

If you try to visit downloads - it says file is deleted - but the file is still there - link is correct.

Hi ThomasKronevald, thanks for the info. I'd recommend contacting the support team directly for them to investigate this matter further.
