can not copy many files from share links even if I have a plus account

I have a plus account, and I want to copy the files from others' shared link, but the website said there were too many files to save to dropbox and refused to let me copy them. In fact, there are more than 10000+ files in the entire folder, and the entire folder has 400G. But I didn't find any restrictions on why I can't copy to my plus account of dropbox.

Hey lulu_optics, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

This doesn't have to do with your own space, it's more likely to do with how much content the website can handle for this specific action.

Are the files devided into subfolders? If so, I'd suggest copying them in batches, to see if that helps.

Let me know how it goes.

However, there are 8000+ files in the big folder. If I copy them one by one, it will loss much time, and I want to copy all of them at one time. Is there any method to solve this problem?

Hey lulu_optics, sorry to jump in here!

Have you tried breaking them into smaller bunches? Can you it a go, and let me know how it goes?

Is it possible we have the same problem with different messages?
I have a problem with the message "we cannot make this folder offline because it contains more than 10000 files"
    1) I can (did) copy that many to Dropbox, you might try to use a folder that is not available offline? Or the opposite, copy them to a local drive (or thumb drive if necessary) not linked to Dropbox and then to a Dropbox folder.
    2) My Problem is the error notice from the Dropbox app doesn't tell me which folder it cannot make available offline? How can I tell as it is some subfolder?

Hey AEFisch, can you give us a bit more info about where you're seeing this error?

Is it the Dropbox app on your phone or your computer?

If you can send us a screenshot, that would also be really helpful.

      Thanks!
