Several audio files went missing after 4 years.
I had several large audio files stored on Dropbox. I had not needed to access them for about four years. Today I tried to access them and found that they are not there: they have apparently not been deleted, nor moved.
What canI do to recover the files (for which I have been paying storage fees for years)?
Thanks to anyone who can offer advice.

Hey mckeenge, welcome to our Community!
You mentioned that you didn't need to access the files for about 4 years.
Within these 4 years, did you access the account itself? I'm asking, because inactive accounts usually close after approximately 1 year of inactivity.
Is it possible that you created a brand-new account in the process?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

No, I haven't accessed them for some years, I don't remember exactly how many.
I would be very grateful for your help.Thank you!

Hi Megan,
I tried to delete my account, but I am not sure it worked. Can you please let me know if my attempt to delete it was successful?
Thanks so much,
Gayle
