Several audio files went missing after 4 years.

I had several large audio files stored on Dropbox. I had not needed to access them for about four years. Today I tried to access them and found that they are not there: they have apparently not been ...

Hey mckeenge, thanks for the speedy response! 

 

It sounds like your Dropbox account was deleted, and when you tried to sign-in, the system created a new account. 

 

In this case, I don't think there's much to do in order to recover the content. I'm sorry.

    I would like to cancel my account altogether. Can you tell me how to do that?

    I am not very happy with this situation.

        Dear Jay,

        Thank you for your message. I have one question, though. It is possible that I have a Dropbox account under a different email address. When I try to login in, though, it is not possible for me to enter an alternative address. Is there a way that I can find out if I do in fact have the other account?
