I’m also having the same issue - I use a gmail email address as my Dropbox account, which is part of a business team. Whenever I try to create editable Google docs I am directed to create a Google workspace account - is there any way to create editable Google docs directly in Dropbox if you aren’t signed up to Google workspace? Thankyou!

To cut to the chase, I'm afraid that you'll need to be signed into the Google account that is associated with your Dropbox account to be able to use the features as outlined here.

I am signed into my dropbox and google with the same email, however I get a message asking me to sign in to Google Workspace. Do I have to use Google Workspace or can I just edit in google sheets?
