Navigation arrows for photos on the website and the mobile app
When displaying photos it would be nice to have better navigation arrows to move to the next or previous photo. There are navigation arrows above (and small) but it would be better to have them to the left and right of the current photo displayed. This convention is used many other places and is much more intuitive.
No sound on my videos when previewed on the Dropbox site, why?
Hello, My videos play sound and video 100%, but when I upload them to Dropbox, there's no video, only sound, but the file size and file type remains the same. This issue suddenly started, before that there was no problem. Please help me fix this. Thank you!
I can't access files shared with me by others via links
I have my own dropbox but independently, for work things, I been given access to files and folders in various other people's dropboxes recently but for some reason I get an error msg and can't access them. These are open files to everyone and it is not just one time / company - it's happening with courses I have paid for, with press media files that are available just generally, people who send me general links to files - I always get this error: Error Something went wrong. Don’t worry, your files are still safe and the Dropbox team has been notified. Check ourStatus Pageto see if there is a known incident, ourhelp centreandforumsfor help, or go back tohome. I have checked the installer, checked my own dropbox syncs etc. My own files are fine and so I can't see the issue. It has happened without about 5 different companies giving me access - that I can't see the files - which are open to the general public if you have been sent the link. What can I do?
Special folder act as "web server"
Well, I've using Dropbox as my webserver at the beginnings, but due to security Dropbox disable this function, but I suggest only allow a special folder can use HTML code with no scripting support, no dynamic function except plain HTML, this can save my cash hosting some webpages and make use of the Dropbox storage for some PDF files sharing.
Why is there picture rotation when importing files into Microsoft Photo Editor from Dropbox?
I shared a link to my dropbox for a file with photos. The person I shared it to opened the file in Microsoft Photo Editor, All the pictures were rotated 90 degrees from their orientation in dropbox. Is there something I can do to make sure this does not happen?
I can't open an Excel document stored in Dropbox through my iPad Pro.
Through the ‘Recents’ folder in Excel, I try to open an Excel doc stored in Dropbox, on my iPad Pro, I get a request or which asks if I want to link Microsoft Office Mobile with Dropbox. It asks which account I want to link with; I tell it. (I have a Personal Plus account). It briefly tells me, ‘working on it’ then jumps back to the ‘Recents’ files, without opening the doc. If I try to open it from Dropbox, via the App, the same thing happens. The App Center in Dropbox is no help at all, it indicates that MS Mobile is linked, and as far as I can see offers no way of linking a new App anyway. Dropbox Support is worse than useless; as a Plus account, I should have access to live chat, but I cannot find any reference to or way of accessing this. I have already wasted several hours with this run-around, and am stunned by the poor design of this whole site.I can't see my files, even though I upgraded.
Hello, I added several files yesterday on my new dropbox account. I had a message alerting me that Ive reached my basic capacity. I therefore paid to upgrade to a higher capacity but I still cannot see some pictures. How can I solve this problem please ? Many thanks ! Neïla
