Dropbox Mac has hijacked my Screenshots
I have Dropbox on my Mac OS Sonoma. As soon as it was installed, my Screenshots disappeared from my Mac Desktop and appeared in Dropbox. How can I stop this? I do NOT want my screenshots in Dropbox. They need to be on my Mac desktop. Thanks for any help--as a last resort I will just get rid of Dropbox from my Mac if there is no remedy for this. Caroline
Speed Optimization for Dropbox over 10Gbe Fiber?
I've got a nice 10Gbe connection at my office and can verify the speed using speedtest.net. When uploading / downloading from Dropbox (in finder, not browser), my actual speed hovers around 75-85 Megabytes/second. This is about 1000 Megabits/second, which is only ~10% of my available bandwidth. I do not have any bandwidth limits in my preferences. Any ideas on how to speed things up here??
How to send notifications to others on file when something is uploaded
I have a few clients and a contractor shared on a file folder in Dropbox. Is there a way to send notifications to them once I upload a file to Dropbox? I have been told there is a way to do this, but I cannot find how. I do not want them to have to individually turn on this setting if possible.
How can I turn off Print screen capture to dropbox? I want it to just go to my clipboard
I used to be able to hit ctrl print screen and copy the screen capture to my clipboard then paste it to documents etc. Dropbox thought it knew better than me and now uploads it to dropbox. How can I override this irritating feature? Thanks!
