366 TopicsThe shared link I sent out truncates the names of files included. Can I adjust the name column?
I’m trying to share a collection of files with non Dropbox users by sending them a link. The files have long names. When the recipients click on the link they get a list of files with very shortened names, such that they cannot tell at a glance which file is which. On the other hand the column showing the size of the files is much wider than needed. Is there any way to give more space to the names of the files? I pay for Dropbox Plus and have heaps of cloud space to upload to. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to upload a 250GB folder whether I use the website or the Desktop APP. Since last week I have been unable to upload any files to the Dropbox website. When I click 'upload or drop' and then choose 'file', nothing happens. I have tried clearing the browser (Chrome) cache and deleting cookies, restarting my laptop, and trying a different browser (Edge), but no luck with any of those potential solutions. My colleagues use the desktop version of Dropbox and none of them have had similar issues or know how to help me. Creating a file request through "Create" menu in the destination folder on the website no longer creates a file request with the destination folder auto populated. Instead, it just brings me to the File Request section and forces me to set it up manually. Was this change intentional? I added one folder from my D drive to my Dropbox backup and it quickly backed up about 200 files and then stopped. Nothing else got backed up. So, I deleted that folder from Dropbox and added it again, with the same result. Can anyone tell me what's going on?558Views0likes10Comments
