While I would like to have the ability for my wife and I to share a combined account with our own individual logins - it's not worth the extra $80/year, almost doubling the cost for only a limited increase in features. If it came with double the storage I might consider it, but even then I'm not sure I need that much more storage at the moment. Please reconsider the pricing on the family plan as I will never upgrade at anywhere near that price. It makes more sense to just have 2 Plus accounts since it comes with the extra storage. With the amount of competition out there for similar cloud storage, it's getting more difficult to justify the cost of dropbox, so I was really expecting a minimal increase in price, if any at all versus the Plus plan I am currently paying for.13KViews21likes32CommentsMessage from Dropbox about completing date of birth by 1st September or lose Family Plan Access
I received the same email & have the same issue. I can't find where to update the DOB from! This truly frustrating for how much we pay for this service. Not to mention that we store important personal and business data on it. DropBox team, please sort this out!Solved6.7KViews2likes57CommentsBlack Friday deal for Family plan?
I'm on a monthly Family plan with 2TB of storage and was wondering if anyone knew of an upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. I'd like to switch to yearly billing, and I know many companies offer larger discounts on yearly plans during BF/CM, so I was thinking this would be a good time to do so if there was going to be a good sale. I see there's a generic discount baked into switching to yearly, but I'd prefer to snag a lower sale price if possible.Solved6.5KViews2likes3CommentsRealistic space expectations for Business Advanced
Hi, A little back story: my family won a diversity green card and we are likely to move to the US within 4 or 5 months.I have been using Dropbox Plus for seveal years and am very satisfied with service (it saved me on several occasions). Working asmotion graphics designer/videographer, my work sofar occupies around 25TB of storage. I would like to keep it all when moving to the US. I am planning to use twoseparate external RAID drives of 24TB each (2x12TB in RAID0 mode). Both these drives will go into different bags on the airplane. As onlinebackup, I also would like to upload all my work to Dropbox Business Advanced account. Iam planning to keep using it for as long as Dropbox keeps this service. Is it realistic to expect 25TB of storage (possibly more in the future as I create more footage) in Business Advanced account or am I better of just keeping my files on hard drives? My subscription expires by the end of March, so I will either extend Dropbox Plus or upgrade to Business Advanced.Solved6.5KViews0likes8CommentsFamily plan vs Professional plan
I can’t find the differences between the family vs professional plan. I currently have the professional plan but want my wife to be able to upload her pictures to her own “Camera Backup_wife” folder and I believe that is not doable unless I’m mistaken? I read that a family plan would allow her to do this but I can’t find a comparison of the plans and so I’m wondering if I would loss features switching from Professional to Family? Will I still have large file transfers? And unlimited devices?5.6KViews0likes3CommentsGet support for your paid Dropbox account
