How can I transfer the ownership of a Basic account?
Hello
We have the Basic Plan, the owner has left and I need to remove them and reassign ownership.
Any advice welcomed!

Without them doing the above there is no way to change it. If they dont, wont or cant the only alternative you have is to set up a new account.
Dropbox wont change this for you because that account is owned by the person. If a company wants admin rights over things they need to be paying for a Business plan which gives them that privilege.

Thank you Mark
I'm trying to set up a new account this morning, but Dropbox keeps taking me back to the original one!

Hey BlueDiamond. To create a new Dropbox account, you’ll first need to log out of the account you’re currently signed in. Here’s how you can do this, depending on the Dropbox platform you’re using.

Hello
Thank you for jumping onboard - I need to use the same email to create a new account - so Dropbox takes me straight back to the original account.
Any advice welcomed.
