Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay a monthly subscription fee so I don't think my account has been shut down as I have seen in other threads. I NEED these files!

I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

I couldn't log in to the original account so I made a new one to ask the community.
I formatted my laptop and reinstalled dropbox, I was asked to type in the 6 digit code. I'm not receiving the 6-digit verification code via e-mail. I've tried "Send a new code" several times and tried everything you guys posted on help center(adding no-reply@, checking the spam mailbox etc...). I even asked the e-mail provider to look into this problem, but they said there's nothing wrong with the e-mail account.

How bad is this Dropbox. I cannot access my dropbox. Got email, password everything but they are not sending a code to my email so I cannot get in. Cannot contact support, the bot is the most pointless thing and so is all the other questions and options.

I had the same problem (I have several clients and most of them have the same issue).
In some cases, the codes don't arrive to the email. The mailboxes are fine and spam folder it's empty. Mailboxes receives mails from other recipients without any issues... just the Dropbox codes are not being sent.
When I was able to contact support by chat, support fixed it... they did "something" on the backend and codes started to arrive to email addresses.
The problem is in some scenarios we cannot contact support because we cannot login. If we cannot login, the support chat is unavailable!

Wow. I have the same issue. I'm not receiving the codes.
I have about 15 Dropbox clients (I'm an Super User and Admin) and experience this type of thing more and more every week. This is really annoying!
Today I just want to log in to check the renewal (happening in a few days) and check the admin console and I cannot log in.
Why is this happening? the mailbox is fine, I can send emails to this mailbox from Hotmail, Gmail, and corporate email and all emails are received in under 5 seconds, so why I don't get the code from Dropbox?Any advice?

I'm trying to login in one of my client's dropbox accounts (I'm an admin) - Dropbox Business.
email accepted,
password accepted.
Now the screen says I need to enter the 6 digit code.
I'm not getting the code.
Resend... no luck...
Already opened a ticket, but any suggestions? This is really annoying and several days ago the same happens with another client. A tech was trying to login into Dropbox to remove one machine from the devices list and the 6-digit code never arrived. I was able to login with the admin account and delete the machine but we see more and more of these issues with our clients. Why Dropbox mails are failing to reach mailboxes? any idea?
BTW, can we add a 2nd 2FA MFA option like google authenticator or MS authenticator to this login process so we don't only relies on email confirmation?

I have done all the things, that has been recommended in forum, still nothing.
Also I hit button reset password, and also no email.

Could you clarify what steps you've already taken? Have you added no-reply@dropbox.com to your contacts list and checked your spam folder?
Have you contacted your email service provider to see if they could be restricting emails from the following Dropbox domains?

All steps have been done, no-reply@drop... has been added to contacts. Spam is empty. suupport told that there are no restrictions.My email was deleted and now our support restored my email.
My friend got immediately 6 digit verification code.

Hi Meraj ansari, I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.
You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link.
From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to pick an email to which you can receive and send emails from.

I am part of a group of people who have been sharing stuff via Dropbox. One of our group set up a Dropbox account about 3 years ago for the group, but about 2 years ago the sharing of stuff was put on hold as the group focussed on other stuff.
We now want to reactivate our Dropbox, but the email she used no longer exists....In an effort to get around this I set up the same email address on my personal Microsoft account, but when I've requested the authentication code it doesn't come through to this replica email address. I've checked Spam and it's not there either.
How can we get back into our Dropbox account? There's a lot of stuff there, and as a group, we are keen to be able to access it and use the Dropbox more actively in the future.

Have you tried adding the no-reply@dropbox.com email address to your inbox, in order to see if you can receive the email when attempting to sign in again?

We are in the same boat with [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines] except we can still access the email it's just that Dropbox is not generating any email codes. PLEASE HELP US Nancy or Larry or anyone from Dropbox.

Thanks, unfortunately it has not made any difference. The emails with Multifactor Authentication codes for that email address only don't seem to be generated from Dropbox's end despite what the screen states when we go to try to login. They are generated for other emails but not for that one.
