Stuck at the free 2GB plan when I upgraded. Why?

I paid $19.99 June 1st and July 1st, but my Dropbox plan is still at the free basic level of 2GB. When I used the online chat support to ask why my plan was not upgraded, the chatbox responded they can't help with billing and just referred me to a page of articles. How do I get in touch with a billing specialist?

  • Hi Lawsy, welcome to our Community!

Do you remember perhaps whether you upgraded your account directly from the Dropbox website or via Google Play/iTunes?

Also, can you please clarify if you have two Dropbox accounts linked to two different emails?

If you have the transaction ID that is linked to your charges, you can also take a look here.

Keep me posted for any updates!

Thank you Megan! I figured out the upgrade was made under a family member's email/account, so I couldn't see it on my account.
