Does deleting an account enable the username to be "reused" on an existing dropbox account?

I have two accounts. Both accounts currently have no data in them. The original one has 8.75GB of storage but uses a hotmail email as the username. The secondary account has 2GB of storage which us...

    Hi MazzaGazza 

     

    Yes you can do that 🙂

     

    Although it may take a few days to release the email depending upon account type 🙂

     

    Another option is to use a third email to swap in to the account with the iCloud one and then you can use it immediately to switch Hotmail
