Non Licensed Admin Account
Hi there, I cannot find away to have a non licensed user have an admin account. In our instance our IT team needs to be able to administer Dropbox users etc, but without consuming an additional license. I can find no way to achieve this. Any ideas?

It's true that, currently, all members and admins of a Dropbox for Business Teams account will take up a license. For more information on the admin roles, you can have a look here.

I have the same issue. I can't believe that Dropbox still requires an account to be licensed just to administer their Dropbox Team account. I work for an MSP and explaining to my customers that they have to pay for a license just so I can administer the account is not received well. Microsoft M365 does not require a license for an account to be a Global admin and be able to administer M365, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Dropbox figure this out!
