Account downgraded?
I've had a free basic plan for perhaps 10 years. Today, I received a notice under the Dropbox menubar item, "Account downgraded. Files can no longer be made online-only."
I didn't make any change to my plan and I don't know why this notice appeared, apparently removing a feature that I've enjoyed for many years. Is there a way to get things back to the way they were?

When I first began using Dropbox more than 10 years ago, there was a referral program that allowed each user to increase the available storage by referring other people to Dropbox. I sent several friends and family to Dropbox and ended up with perhaps 15GB of free storage space. I've always used a basic free account.
I recently noticed that the amount of storage space in my account has been reduced to about 4.25GB, for the past several weeks or longer. The referrals page said I've earned 2.25GB of additional storage. If memory serves, I've lost more than 10GB of storage space!
How can I get my storage space back?

Hi there iDad, sorry to hear about this.
If you made sure that you're looking at the correct account, can you please send us a screenshot of the notification you got and clarify what exactly is shown in your plan tab in regards to your quota and if you're able to find your referrals there?
Any additional information is more than welcome!

How should I send you a screenshot? Is there an email address or some place to upload it? Or can I post it in the this thread? I don't see an option to do that.
Thanks.
