Trying to change dropbox folder location, frozen while "moving" dropbox
I am trying to move the dropbox location/folder onto a new external drive (from an internal hard drive). It has been stuck on 3790/68455 files for 3 hours. There is no file so big that it would take this long, so I'm trying to figure out why it's frozen/stuck. And depending on the answer, if I try to cancel and/or restart, what happens to the files that started moving and/or what are the implications if I force a close and start over?

Hey rosenrush, let's jump right into this!
Just to make sure we're on the same page here, did you use these steps in order to move your Dropbox folder, to your external drive?
I strongly recommend choosing a location on the same hard drive as your operating system. Dropbox won't work correctly should the Dropbox folder ever become inaccessible, which can happen when you use an external drive.
Now, have you tried any of these steps, in order to remedy what you're going through with your files not syncing?
