how to link computer to existing dropbox account

For security reasons I've temporarily unlinked my computer from dropbox. Now I want to relink it but my computer is not shown in the list of devices in the security section of my dropbox account. So my files are not synced. Do I have to delete dropbox and install it all over again? Or is there a way to link my computer?

    thanks for your answer. In the meantime i solved the problem. I just downloaded Dropbox and installed it again. Now my computer is relinked to my account. I presume Dropbox was removed or shut down after I dislinked my computer.

    To relink your computer with your Dropbox account, all you need to do is sign back in to the desktop app with the same account / login credentials of your existing account.
