How to install Dropbox Dash app, if there really is an app and not just a browser extension?
I've been accepted to try the beta version of Dropbox Dash. When I follow the links to join Dash, it takes me to a page that says: ``` Set up Dash to search your apps and browser history 1 A...
It sort of worked by switching browsers. Trying to follow the instructions in Firefox eventually led me to download Dropbox.app, as I tried to say in my question.
Using Vivaldi (so I have chrome with less spying), it worked better, eventually downloading a a file named **Dropbox Dash-2.54.0.dmg**, not **Dropbox.app**. That DMG installed an app called **Dropbox Dash.app**, the answer to my original question, which I guess I could have asked more clearly. Now, I'll go ahead and try it.
