Hi, I found this setting under Settings- Connected apps, but where can I get the Paper desktop app? Thanks in advance!

Its currently in close beta. If you are part of the beta you will be able to install it via a pop up on screen when you go to http://paper.dropbox.com

  I had the option to download but it dissapeared after clicking on the button.

    I’d recommend submitting a ticket with our team for assistance since this feature is currently in beta.   You can also create a shortcut in Chrome or Brave. Click the right dot menu, more tools, create shortcut, open as window. This will open paper as an app and you can more the app to your applications folder or desktop or dock on mac.

    I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to there, can you please provide me a little more detail? Such as where you are located on the website where you expect a popup.

  We're glad to hear you are interested in our new project! Our team is currently in the process of experimenting with new features in order to build the best Paper experience for all our users. That said, let me briefly confirm what has already been mentioned above, as the Paper Desktop application is currently in a closed testing period & you'll definitely hear more about it once we open up the testing.
  
  In the meantime, thanks for using Dropbox Paper & taking the time to drop us a line on the Dropbox Community!

I've seen the previous posts about the Dropbox Paper desktop app in a closed beta. As an avid user of Paper, I'm curious: is there an expected release date or open beta period for the app?

I use the same Dropbox account on two different macs, but only one has the paper app, the other computer opens the .paper files in a web browser.

How can it get the paper app on both machines?

Please release Paper Mac desktop app or share it with business profiles... we have more than 40 users on dropbox, depend highly on paper, and would love to have it as a standalone desktop app rather than having to open a browser each time!
