How can I create a Dropbox folder shortcut on the Finder sidebar?

On my computer which is a Macbook-Pro it appears that Dropbox is downloaded. However when I go to finder it is not there. What is happening?

Hey there (Krisi), it's my understanding that you'd like to locate the Dropbox folder in your sidebar in Finder, am I on the right track? If so, then you can easily get going with that by dragging the Dropbox folder itself into the sidebar. The Dropbox folder can be found in your "Home" folder, the folder named after your computer user name. When you drag it in, you should see a blue line with a dot at the beginning indicating where the shortcut will be placed.

Just be careful not to move the Dropbox folder itself (such as to the Desktop, or any other location on your computer) because then the Dropbox software won't know where it is.

Hopefully my post answers your questions however please do let me know if I have misunderstood your inquiry in any way or in case you have any follow-up queries & it'll be a pleasure to further clarify. Thanks & have a great day ahead until we talk again!
