Free 1 GB extra storage offer to install Dropbox Passwords
I got an offer of 1 GB extra storage if I installed Dropbox Passwords. I did so, but no extra storage. Was it a hoax?

For the record the promised extra Gig was finally credited to my account.

Hi there, I have also received this offer and signed up for Passwords, but the additional space was not credited to my account. Can someone please look into this?

Hey pavel8, thanks for joining the discussion here.
Could you clarify if this was an email you received or a pop-up notification within the Dropbox app?
If you happen to have a screenshot of it, feel free to send it along.

Dear All, greetings.
Today I loged in to my Dropbox account and received a pop up notification in browser to install DropBox Password for 1 extra Gig of storage.
I confirmed the proposal I was redirected at the following link:

After installing the chrome extension I haven't received the extra 1 gig as was promissed.
I started to Google this case and discovered current topic with the same problem users faced.
I dont have any screenshot, but I am sure you can tack it from your side.
Thank you and please have a nice day!

Although this was slow in coming, I did eventualy receive the extra 1 Gig in my Dropbox. Don't remember where the offer came from, but I think it was an email. In any event, it was legit.

I think it was an email and I *did* eventually get the offered 1 gig. It was just slow in coming.
