End-to-end encryption on Dropbox content. How does it work?
Hi are files sent from Mac or iPhone to Dropbox Cloud end-to-end encrypted?

Thank you for the article. I didn’t find it as I was searching for "end-to-end encryption"!
I just wanted to understand whether this "Boxcryptor for Individuals" would provide better protection for the connection and transfer of files from my Mac/iPhone to Dropbox cloud? ..and to iCloud for that matter?
"Boxcryptor for Individuals" says - End-to-end encryption for your cloud data.. Boxcryptor encrypts all your data on your device before transfering anything to your cloud storage provider.

Hi there,
I know this thread is already old, but I wanted to share a quick update with you:
We have launched our end-to-end encryption in April. More details can be found here and here.
High level overview:
You can now add end-to-end encryption to team folders. The functionality is available for our Advanced, Business Plus and Enterprise customers at no additional costs.
