Dropbox update android
Dropbox will not allow files to be opened, says needs update. Cannot see how to update the app.

You should be able to find the relevant option in the app's settings
On your Android device, follow these steps:
1. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the screen
2. Select "Settings"
3. Select “Clear Cache”Once this is done then please ensure you log out of the Dropbox application, then restart your device and log back in again.

I have used Dropbox with Excel for many years now but starting today when I try to open an excel spreadsheet through Dropbox (this is on my phone. Samsung Galaxy S22) I get a message saying the following:
Dropbox Update Required
To open this file, please update your Dropbox app.
It has been updated. I have reinstalled the app and I'm still getting the same problem. If I open excel and navigate to my Dropbox file I am able to open and edit the file this way but I would prefer my original way of doing it if I could be guided to a fix. Thank you in advance.

Samsung seems to be the common denominator here.
