Bring back the green 'synced' checkmark in the system tray.
In my Windows system tray (next to the clock), Dropbox used to show that it was fully synced by showing a green check-mark over the Dropbox icon. This was really helpfull.
If Dropbox was offline, it would show no overlay icon.
Recently (and according to Dropbox itsself) this has changed, the Dropbox icon now shows no overlay if it is fully synced, but to me, i constantly think my Dropbox is offline, instead of 'fully synced'.
So the idea is: please bring back the green 'fully synced' checkmark. Or -at least- make it an option to show it.

This has been the final straw. Dropbox keps adding bits and changing stuff, and to behonest what for. The idea was simple, replicate data across computers and devices, now they appear to be makign changes for change sake.
Final straw, Ive been a paid user witha a TB of space for 6 or 7 years. Ive just bought 1TB from google for half the price and am transffering 90% of my data there. Im dropping to the free version but will close out once I replace all the functionality of DB.
- JolieMExplorer | Level 4I promise not to use naughty words. DropBox is still the best system whether one has 1 computer or 100 computers. I hate to see the green check mark taken away on the system tray icon. It is much easier to look at the DropBox badge with a green check mark to know that all is well than to look at a blank box. I guess new people signing up for your service won't miss it if they have never seen the green check mark. As the old adage goes, "If one has not tasted chocolate, one will not miss it. Unfortunately me and several million other users have tasted chocolate. Speaking for myself and probably countless other users, BRING BACK THE GREEN CHECK MARK IN THE SYSTEM TRAY.

Well, i found an older version of Dropbox and installed it.. But it just updated automatic.
Then i found 2 Services "DropboxUpdateService" that i just deactivated.
Then i installed Dropbox 34.4.22 again and now i got my dropbox has a green checkmark where it should be.
No update until the green checkmark is back in a new version!

I AGREE!
Please put back the green checkmark on the icon!
The checkmark was easily visible and told me ***immediately*** that my files synced successfully.
But now that it's gone, I keep thinking my Dropbox isn't connected to the internet! And since I'm a busy person, I don't have the patience to worry for a split second, and then drag my mouse all the oway over the icon and then see if it syced properly.
Please add back the checkmark! Thank you! - hillelanaNew member | Level 2

This takes the piss!! First they made it black and white - and ruined the look and made it look like a system icon, now this.
