Dropbox full notice, but hardly any files

I am getting a notice stating that my Dropbox is full, but there are hardly any files in it. I have no shared files and i do not use the backup feature. What can I do?

  • Hey Vickie M.3, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community.

Can you please follow the steps in this article, to see the size of your files and calculate the size of your folders, to see what might be taking up your space?

Let me know what you find.

      Hello Hannah,

So I only uploaded two videos from a live band on my iPhone, and it looks like each video was about 3.5GB in size. I have no idea why those videos were so large, but that's good to know. It solved the frustrating mystery! Thank you for your help!

No worries, Vickie! I'm glad we were able to figure that out.

        Have a wonderful week ahead!
