Sync never finishes - Windows Dropbox v171.4.6182
I've used Dropbox for years and never run into this issue.
Dropbox is stuck syncing about 8,500 files (1.2 GB) (the exact number changes from moment to moment). Many folders are stuck with the blue sync icon. The tooltip says, "Uploading 22 files, downloading 8588 files." It doesn't have a download speed indicator which it usually does. I've tried restarting my computer and also I've let my computer stay on overnight for a few days and the number hasn't budged.
I've tried to make some folders Online-only to reduce the number of downloading files but they won't update to that setting. I have plenty of free space on my Dropbox account and hard drive. My internet is working properly for everything else.
No problem, ghanson752.
Can you please simply reinstall the Dropbox app through this link, to see if that helps?

Thank you for your quick response! Unfortunately I've gone through most of these suggestions to no avail.
I am currently trying to delete some unnecessary files to reduce the total number - Apparently a few creative apps were using my Dropbox drive as cache.
I'm not sure but it seems like recently changed files are being synced properly but there's a large backlog of files that just sit there syncing and doing nothing.
