I can't open/edit/upload files inside my desktop app
hey there, I've been having a lot of sync issues with the desktop app lately. I have had to restart the computer to the point of having to reinstall the app to get a good sync process on my computer. is there a good solution or this kind of issues?
I'm missing the "Sync history" tab from my desktop app
Clicking the dropbox icon in my taskbar used to bring up something that would show all files that had been synced, and when they were synced, no matter what kind of file it was or which computer uploaded the file. This is useful for--for example--verifying that a file I think I just copied over to be synced, was in fact copied over and synced. Now the part that did that was removed, and there's just "your activity", which does not provide the same information, and just seems to decide arbitrarily which files are "important enough" for it to show. How do I configure it so that "your activity" shows ALL files that were synced, in chronological order?
Unable to upload 250 GB from WIN11 laptop both from web and desktop app
I pay for Dropbox Plus and have heaps of cloud space to upload to. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to upload a 250GB folder whether I use the website or the Desktop APP. Am I missing something fundamental or is 250GB over a limit. It's driving me nuts. Thanks for any help. Vic
Why is my Documents folder in my Dropbox folder?
After many years using the same computer, we purchased a new one. There are many things different from the "old days". I feel like a total newbie! I somehow ended up with my documents folder in Dropbox. And I don't use Dropbox. Could someone please tell me how I can get my files out of dropbox and my documents folder back in File Explore where I've always had it? Hi, I am using dropbox plus trial now. I have all the folers saved to dropbox online now, then today I installed dropbox app to my windows 11 laptop. Since the files are so large, so I only select some folers to sync to my deskstop dropbox app, all other folders are saved to dropbox online. Da un aggiornamento di dropbox (attualmente ho installata la versione 212.4.5767), le icone di sincronizzazione (prima incorporate dentro a quelle dei file, in basso) sono finite a lato ben distanti... Così come mostrato qui a seguire. Ho provato a controllare ma non sto utilizzando né Onedrive né altri cloud con la sincronizzazione. Ho provato a reinstallare il client WIN di Dropbox. Niente da fare... Rimane tutto così. Sul PC di mia moglie e mio figlio le icone sono quelle classiche (con la spunta verde o altro, ma incorporate DENTRO alle icone dei file o cartelle e NON a lato). Originalmente erano così... Mi piacerebbe trovare un modo per ripristinarle allo stato originale, molto più pratico e veloce. Hey there, Here's a problem I'd like some advice on. What I would want: 1. The photos from my iPhone get automatically uploaded to my Camera Uploads account in Dropbox - SUCCESS 2. The uploaded photos from the Camera Uploads account get automatically downloaded/synced to the hard drive of my MacBook - FAIL The filenames of the uploaded photos are visible in my desktop app, and if I double-click on them to view them, they will get downloaded eventually I have checked all settings I could think of and they all seem to be right. Still, I don't get to the expected result. Any guidance is much appreciated
