Trying to understand "online only" mode on my Mac desktop app

Hi again, admakr. From what I can see, you’re running the alpha version of the Dropbox app (203.2.2468), which is experimental.
Can you switch off early releases from this page, and then download the latest stable version instead (201.4.5552) from this link?
I’d like to see if this fixes the issue.

After installing the latest stable version from your link, It looks like I lost the ability it make files "online only"? The alpha version allowed me to indicate files as "online only"...Or am I missing something.

This option should still be available on the stable app version. Are you seeing another option to make your files available offline instead?
Also, about your app’s syncing status; is it currently up to date, or does it still seem to be indexing files?
