I had used Dropbox for limited files because I didn't have enough storage and was using OneDrive to manage some online sharing to my phone but I hated it so paid to get more storage, dumped OneDrive,...

Thank you. I got an email back from a ticket I opened:
"Please follow these steps to unlink and relink your computer:
1) Right-click the Dropbox icon in the system tray, or menu bar, by the clock.
2) Click on your profile picture or initials to the right of the search bar, and select "Preferences".
3) Select the Account tab.
4) Click the "Sign Out" button in the Account tab.
5) Your Dropbox will then prompt you to re-enter your account information.
Your account will then take a few moments to re-index your Dropbox folder, and sync any pending changes before returning to normal activity."It took about 20 hours because I'd racked up 28,000 files to sync but it is done!
Thank you Dropbox for replying so promptly to my problem!

Hi BadlandsMarlene, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You can check the files in the Dropbox folder, to see if there are any files with a syncing icon on them.
These would be the files that aren't fully up to date yet and could be causing issues with the syncing.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
