Desktop app changes not syncing with online

Hey - my desktop version of dropbox is not syncing with the online version & files - is there something we're missing? Maybe an update?

This might help the syncing process to continue at a faster speed. If need be, you can try making a small change in that folder to see if this helps the folder to sync across.

Hi Auto_Performance_Marketing, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Do you see the Dropbox icon near the clock in the system tray or menu bar?

When you click that icon, what message do you see on the bottom left?

This will help me to assist further!

It currently says its syncing 'Social Media Content' which was recently selected to move to online-only, thinking it would solve the problem.

Could you check the bandwidth settings in the Dropbox desktop application to see if they are restricted in any way?

Hi, new to dropbox and to dropbox business.

I installed dropbox app on my desktop and proceeded to modify the file organization and make other changes (a lot of file deletions) within the team folder.  However, none of those changes are reflected at DB online.  What might be the issue?  Is it just a matter of giving it time to sync?

Hey NCMonsterTree, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community!

I would suggest first checking the sync status of the app, to make sure it's done syncing.

To do so, hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar with your mouse.

      What do you see?

Well, that appears to be the problem.  Deleted an old backup file from my computer hard drive and appears to now be working.  Thank you.
