Can you link directly to a video shared with Dropbox?

How do I pull the url from a shared mp4?

If they directly shared the file to your Dropbox account, then there isn’t a URL you can copy or create.

Also, if they later decide to remove your access to the file, there won’t be any way for you to access it again without asking them to re-share the file.

You should have an option to download it to your computer or add it to your Dropbox account, assuming you have the quota to do so.

Hi there, could you clarify your question so we can assist further? Are you referring to the exact URL of an mp4 as it appears via a shared link?

How did they send you the mp4? Is it in a shared link, or via a direct share to your Dropbox account?
