Does anyone know how to move picture locations within a dropbox file folder? For example, if I wanted to move the location of a photo from the beginning to the end of the file. There does not appear to be any kind of drop and drag capability.208Views0likes2CommentsFolders showing up empty when I send a link to someone
This has only been happening to me within the past week, but it is really hurting my business. I am always sending a folder with either video files or photos. Generally people are opening the link on their phone with the intention of saving them to their phone. Basically what is happening is when I send someone the link to the folder, for them it either says that the folder is empty, or it shows the files but when they click on them it says the file type is not supported and so they can't view them or save them. This seems to happen whether they are using the Dropbox app or they open the link using Safari. The same thing also happens if they try to open the link to the folder on desktop. Also it should be noted that I upload the files via the Dropbox website, and I know they are all synced before I send the link because I check on the app on my phone before I copy the link. I have double checked and I know I am sending them the correct link and near the link when I copy it it literally says "anyone with this link will have access to these files" but I guess that is not the case for some reason. It also doesn't seem to matter if the person is signed in to their account or not. Any idea on why this is happening? Need to fix it ASAPSolved8.5KViews3likes38CommentsLooping videos permanently
Hi, I use drop box to send exercise videos to senior clients. It seems like you have to loop a video every time you use it. Can you implement a setting where the video will automatically loop every time it is played? This would be incredibly helpful. Thank you!194Views0likes1CommentWhen I upload my images to Dropbox, it COMPLETELY changes the color.
When i upload my images to dropbox, dropbox COMPLETELY changes the colour and adds a strange blue/yellow filter It’s definitely a dropbox issue and does not lie with the files themselves as no other server does this4.5KViews0likes14CommentsCorrupted Word Documents
I am at my wit's end! I didn't realise that DropBox would corrupt files. I now have several Word documents in a folder that I need for my course work assessment which are no longer Word documents and which won't open. I'm actually really worried - I trusted DropBox and am actually thinking I shouldn't have...Can anyone tell me what has happened please? Also my tutor is unable to open the PDF files - they open with a padlock and are so tiny he can't read them...he is one of those listed as being able to open them (TM ). Please help me - I need all this for my assessment and am now seriously worried. Thank you.Solved6.7KViews0likes24CommentsMake search by file or foldername easy again, and allow us to set default sort to Modified date
Dropbox search used to be pretty quick, where you could enter a few words in the file or folder name you were looking for and it would find it. Once it started sorting by Relevance by default, old and very irrelevant results would go to the top, but with one click you could set it to be sorted by date and find your file. But now that search looks inside files, the results are crowded by hundreds of results that you're not looking for. It's made search almost impossible for me, unless I do extra clicks that sort or filter the results. I don't have time to do this every time I simply need to find my file. I'm suggesting for the Dropbox search: 1) Sort by filedate by default. Let people click Relevance if they want to sort by that. 2) Search inside files should be a checkbox that we can uncheck, or is unchecked by default. Let us choose to search inside files (and look through hundreds of results)409Views0likes1CommentWhen previewing audio files on Dropbox, the playback skips or drops out. Any ideas?
Hello, just wondered if any other music tech-y people have had any trouble with glitchy audio files when using Dropbox to share them? A track that I have mixed and bounced down on my studio pc, which plays fine with no problems, once shared On DB if you listen to the track on a different device it is full of digital glitches and audio dropouts. Any ideas?12KViews2likes74Comments
