emails
166 TopicsI keep receiving emails about being over-quota, but there aren't any files on my account.
I receive emails from Dropbox telling me my Basic account has reached its limit; however, when I log into my account there are no files there. I have searched in all folders, there is nothing there. I have also tried to locate these files using my laptop account and there is nothing there. I cannot respond to their emails because it's from an unmonitored mailbox. I cannot call Dropbox because I have the free edition, and their free customers aren't treated with the same care as their paying customers. How can I resolve this if I cannot speak to a live person about it? I'm tempted to reach out to our state's attorney general to file a complaint. This is just bad, bad business.11Views0likes1CommentI sent an invite for others to join my Dropbox team, but they don't get the email.
Hello, I tried sending invites to my team members but they haven't received any emails. We checked our spam and tried searching for emails from Dropbox to no avail. We signed up for the Dropbox Business Plus plan for 4 team members. We wanted to try out the free trial before signing up. Does the free trial prevent invites?13Views0likes1CommentI verified my email but it doesn't register as verified
I'm trying to share a folder through a link. It wants me to verify my email address. I've verified my email by clicking the link it sends me about 10 times now, but it still doesn't register as verified, even under my account settings. I'm unable to chat with support because I don't have access to it.15Views0likes1CommentI got an email saying I don't have enough space, but that's not true. Is this legit?
i have recieved a strange email from this address no-reply@em-s.dropbox.com it says: "There's limited space available in your Dropbox. Even adding just one more file might stop your account from syncing and being able to access them when you need to." that is not true, i have much more space, i thought it is a spam and i came here to check what you say about it and i saw that you say it is one of your addresses and i don't get it. can you please help me understanding this? thanks297Views0likes7CommentsNot receiving the verification email
Hello, I set up a drop box account today and have failed to receive the verification email, I have tried multiple times and tried using a different email address. I use outlook for email. I have checked the junk folder and have added no-reply@dropbox.comto my safe sender list and added no-reply@dropbox.comas a contact. I am at a loss as to what is causing the issue. I have checked the quarantine in Microsoft Admin to see if they are being stopped before they get to our inbox and no messages are in quarantine. Any help is appreciated, thanks!66Views0likes1CommentI deleted my Gmail account, and now I can't access Dropbox because it sends an email there
I have an old Gmail account that I deleted and can no longer access. When I try to login to my Dropbox account, it sends a code to that email address. I know the password, can't receive the code to that email address. Can someone update the email address on my old account or offer another solution?405Views1like9CommentsI'm trying to share a folder with other users, but I keep being asked to verify the email.

Hi, my email archive has grown over the years – I want to keep all the important old stuff (since 1994) because it's kind of my personal archive. Now my mail provider (a little independent company) is complaining about the 50GB+ that I am using and wants to start charging me for that. There's plenty of space in my Dropbox so it would be great to be able to move old mail folders to Dropbox while still being able to access them from all my devices. In a nutshell, this is what I'd like to do: - Make the mailbox folders local on one of my computers so they don't take up space on my IMAP mail server - Move the local mbox folders to Dropbox while still being able to access them through the Mail.app - Then add them as local folders on other devices so they are available everywhere. Is this even possible, or do I risk messing up all my data? Thanks ChristophSolved275Views0likes1Comment
