Hi, lately I closed my team profile from my compagny. I changed to a personal 3 tb subscription and suddenly all folder are emty. Although I used to be the one who could change everything. I changed files to an new folder in the hope it was a sync problem. It was not and using rewind ended up losing everything. What can I do now? I am a bit afraid that i lost 2tb of information and work. Doe anyone have a clue how to get my files back? Kind regards Jobbe267Views0likes6CommentsCan I purchase the extended version history add-on to extend my recovery window?
I have dropbox plus and would like to extend deleted file recovery beyond 30 days. Will the Extended Version Add-On available for $39.99/year allow me to do that? I have read the documentation on the website and I am only certain I can restore older versions of files, not actual deleted files. I previously had a team account. I was recently asked to upgrade the account or disband the team. I chose "Disband the Team" after that I was presented with two options DELETE EVERYTHING or SAVE ALL FILES. I chose SAVE ALL FILES. My team account was converted to an individual account. I no longer have said folders that were part of the team account. What happened?157Views0likes1CommentMy paid subscription disappeared along with all my content
I purchased a 1 year subscription on 05/29/24 and have been using the account without problems up until last week. My account now shows that it is the basic free account with all of my files gone. Says 0 bytes used with 2G available. I cannot get help from dropbox because their site shows that is only available to paid subscribers.Solved479Views0likes6CommentsMy account got deleted when I tried to downgrade from a Dropbox Business team
I am a Dropbox Plus subscriber and made my last payment on May 13, 2024. On June 5, 2024, I received a notification to renew a Dropbox Business Plus subscription due to the trial ending. I do not recall signing up for this trial, but upon checking, I found that my account was inadvertently added to a Dropbox Business Plus trial on May 5, 2024. On June 5, 2024, I could no longer access my files and was prompted to upgrade and add billing information for the Business Plus Team account. I was given two options: “Disband Team” or “Keep Dropbox for Teams.” The option “Keep Dropbox for Teams” costs $1,440 per year, which I do not need. I had just renewed my “Dropbox Plus” plan on May 13, 2024, for $119.88. Therefore, I chose the option to “Disband Team.” I did not delete the account; I simply selected "Disband Team" with the intention to downgrade from the free Business Plus trial to my regular “Dropbox Plus” for personal use. According to Dropbox Help, disbanding a team is permanent and causes regular team members to lose access to team content, however as a team admin, I did not think that I would be losing access or permanently deleting content. https://help.dropbox.com/plans/downgrade-team-plan#:~:text=You%20can%20change%20from%20Dropbox,lose%20access%20to%20team%20content. When I try to log in to my paid Dropbox Plus account, I receive the message: "This account is deleted. Please re-register with a new account or wait 30 days to re-register with your current email." I attempted to create a new account with my admin email, but the message "This email is already taken, try another" appears.I see other users fell into that trap before: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Plans-and-Subscriptions/Cancelled-my-Business-account-and-now-I-cannot-use-my-email-for/td-p/761738 This situation is causing major disruptions, and I urgently need help to restore my account and regain access to my files. I would love some help or feedback. Thanks349Views0likes1CommentWhat will happen once I cancel my Pro trial
Hi, I am currently a user of the Basic plan, and through referrals, promotions, etc., I have amassed 21GB of storage. I am considering upgrading to Pro, and wish to evaluate via the free trial period. My question is: if I don't continue with the Pro tier, and I do cancel the trial before it expires, I understand my plan will revert back to Basic, but I would like to learn in advance whether I can then expect to still retain all the extra storage (21GB) I've earned, and not get put back at the starting point of 2GB? Also: During the trial period, which allows for a longer term of version history than Basic - once using Pro, could I, for a given file that has more history than currently shows for me under the Basic plan, now go back as far as Pro allows, and restore from that? Thanks so much in advance to whomever is able to help!Solved1.1KViews0likes4Comments
