I used to have a personal account using my work email (Google login) and deleted it as I need to register a business account with the same email address. However, when I try to sign up via the invitation from our company admin, Dropbox gives me an error message saying "There was a problem completing your request," and I cannot go any further. I am trying to install the app on my laptop, which is updated with Ventura version, All goes well until I need to verify my account with the 6 numbers code, it says an unexpected error happened and it marks the code incorrect even though is correct, I have tried several times and now It is not sending me more verification codes to my mail to move forward. Hi, Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to post - I tried looking around for any support regarding hiring but could not find any. I had seen individuals post questions related to application forms in the past on this board, hence why I chose it for help. Apologies again for the inconvenience! I had been attempting to apply to the Summer 2025 position for Software Engineer Intern in the US (remote) via greenhouse.io (the link can be found here:https://boards.greenhouse.io/embed/job_app?token=6209859&utm_source=Simplify&ref=Simplify) - but when trying to fill out the "Company Name" field for each of my work experience sections, there was no input box visible for the field, and thus I could not submit my application by normal means. I'm unsure if this is a general problem or if it is only on specific browsers - so for troubleshooting's sake I am using Google Chrome - version 129.0.6668.90 of the Official Build (64-bit). It was a bit hacky of a fix in the meantime, but for me to submit my application I just used the developer console and set the value for the input field manually - see below: var inp = document.getElementById('employment_company_name_0') inp.value = 'COMPANY NAME HERE'; To fill in more than one field, I just changed the ID appropriately - i.e. 'employement_company_name_2', 'employment_company_name_3', and so on. Figured at the very least I would leave that there incase any others run into the same problem with the application and find themselves here - a pretty quick (albeit hacky) fix if you have any knowledge of JS at all, but hopefully this is something that can be fixed in the near future? Good afternoon! I am new to the forums and currently using a second account to try and get my primary account back. I've opened a support ticket to try and resolve this issue last month. In the original ticket, I've let the Dropbox Support Team know that the only email I received from them was the "deletion" email. They told me my account was deleted and I should have had emails leading up to it. I just found their response to my ticket in my spam folder today, and I've since located the lead up emails in my spam folder as well, which I found strange as I use to always get emails from dropbox in my Inbox. I have whitelisted the emails from dropbox today. I am assuming dropbox signed me out on my laptop and it counted as not signing in for 90 days. When I tried to respond to the support ticket via email, it told me, "Thanks for reaching out to Dropbox support. Replies to this email are routed to an unmonitored inbox and will not be answered by our support team." which I am only guessing is because I took too long to locate this email in the spam folder and respond to it. However, I can't respond to it on dropbox because it won't let me sign in due to my account being "Inactive". I lost a chunk of important documents and pictures all the way back from 2018, which is already devastating, but now I can't even re-create an account using my primary email address as it is still saying the account is "Inactive". Is there a way I can get this fixed? I've tried to create another support ticket but I keep getting an error that says, "There was a problem completing this request". I've used DropBox for many years and never had this issue before. Any help would be appreciated. I've attached the error picture here that I get when trying to create another support ticket, while omitting my personal information (Edit to add that I've tried deleting cache, using a different browser, and used my phone. My friend uses Dropbox as a person. He had mistakenly switched to Dropbox for Teams, didn't pay and his account was blocked and deleted. Okay, that's not a problem for him. But now he can't register a new correct account with the same email. Because when he visits "Log in or sign up" page, enters the email, he receives a welcome message: - which means that this account exists. But when he enters the password, he gets: - which means his account is deleted, so the email should be available for the new registration. Ok, the message says that you should "wait for 1 day to re-register with your current email". BUT HE WAITS SINCE JULY! I saw someone else on this forum had a similar issue, but when I got on my computer today, I got a notification that Dropbox wanted to re-log me into my account. I'd just accessed my account a week ago and have had this account for several years, but when I went to login it made me create a new account and all of my files had disappeared. I doubled checked I logged into the right email and I hadn't received any email informing me of a sort of account termination, so I'm very confused as to what is going on. On top of it all, it's clear from the other person I saw who had a similar issue to this in the Community wasn't able to resolve their issue from a simple reply to their post, but had to be directly dealt with an email correspondence. Which, incredibly inconveniently and frustratingly, is not something I can directly pursue.
